About Me
“The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires.”
For the past 32 years, my goal in life has been to inspire my students to help create a better community. While teaching a variety of subjects, I always work to do it through a civics lens, one that encourages students to live the civic dispositions.
I’ve been privileged to teach many different subjects over the years: British Literature, U.S. Literature, Philosophy, Social Problems, Consumer Economics, English, Social Studies, U.S. History, AP U.S. History, Current Events, Sociology, and all levels of American Government.
This year I’m teaching regular, and AP U.S. Government classes at Capital High School. I’ve also taught at Pierce Junior High, Shelley High, and Orofino High Schools over the years.
